would be handy if tumblr had a reasonable upload tool, because it’s not accepting the crappiest of quality pictures in .jpg or .bmp don’t know if size makes it have a hissy fit or what but they need to sort their shit out.
snippets from portfolio.. this was a good brief not to mention playing around with typography was fun i also thought the postcard size worked quite well not to mention i think these both compliment each other maybe could’ve done a red one to go with at the time to make it a complete set..

Still looking to get my film developed to stick on here from a while back. i’ll upload as soon as i have some spare dollar.. if anyone could give me a heads up for developing film round Liverpool for cheap lemme know.. asda tesco and boots cost a bomb?
Inch exhibition @ Hoults Yard Newcastle. Didn’t take many photos of this but overall was a good night and none of this art fag stencil rubbish being wheat pasted up..
Really need to get a polaroid.. i’ll probablies try and cop one when i can.

this is such a cool invention, and seeing how well instagram is used it seems pretty useful to have a printer every time you upload a photo..
you can also see this great invention in use and also by hash tagging #instaprint you can send your own photo to them and watch it print live. i don’t know if you receive the photo or not but it still is pretty cool..

Hellovon Lecture
This was quite a good lecture and Von had explained quite a few interesting parts of his life about what his inspiration for his work was and how this came from his child hood etc. He has been a Freelance artist for 6 years and has achieved quite alot for quite a short time. I liked the window display for Selfridges and advertising for the Para-Olympics all around London , Tube, Bus’s, Billboards, Buildings and else where, i thought was very good and a true inspirer

Play create project: Last weeks Presentation
The presentation was quite successful and we had got quite a good response. I thought we had utilised the play and create aspect quite well, where the person viewing our supposed product got to play with it with flipping it backwards, forwards, quickly, slowly etc and this was quite a good…
Haven’t blogged on here much lately must get back on the ball of things.. but the lecture from Last Monday was really good. A future director Pete Thomos (Future director of Uniform). There is a team of 26 people and who also get freelance illustrators in at a time so that would be flexible. The company has been founded for around 15 years and has some interesting figures. 115,000 pounds Uniform funds for their team for each salary and a top end designer is around 80,000. Freelance Illustrators start from around 100 pound depending on work to around 250 pounds and upwards. I think the idea of the twitter following thing is genious how each time someone follows it releases a bubble gum and people get to see video / picture of this, this is a genius idea of getting people interested and talking about your company. can’t embed 2 videos for some reason but HERE is the sweet tweet in the making. HERE is also a video of Network London and i like the effects of making this successful. I would love to learn how to do stuff like this and to have a go on the program that was used.
the corporate identity on this is really good and fits the bottle well.

Cool idea loving both of these. The blue print one does work pretty well i think the 3d one is not as clear as it could be.. but maybe 3d glasses will sort that. who knows

A couple of different version, my personal favourite the blue print.
Try the last one with 3D glasses on and let me know if it works.
Inspired from a piece of work I saw on a blog a while back that also looked at the elements relations to shape.
I remember doing some packaging design in College and this was some inspiration off from when I did it. I still think the idea and design and how simplistic it is, is such an amazingly designed piece.
